A Florida woman, Egypt Moneek Robinson in 2015, stabbed her 3 year old son, Aries Juan Acevedo and stuffed his body in a suitcase. Adding to the horrific and senseless act, she carried the suitcase into her backyard and dropped it in the swamp behind her home. After missing reports of the son was made by her family members, police visited Robinson.

A report filed by the deputy who drove her to the sheriff's office claimed Robinson made multiple, unprompted statements about the world ending in a Biblical flood.
She said:

 “The world is going to flood and everyone was going to be drowned and I can't be drowned, therefore, I have to be shot in the head.” Robinson added: “Everyone on Noah's Ark relived and my baby will relive again!”

While the deputy reported that Robinson claimed she was “just trying to save her baby,” a statement she allegedly made to one of her cellmate paints a much darker picture. Tiffany Powell told investigators that Robinson had no remorse over her son's death because she believed her son was “the soul of Hitler.”
According to a police report, Powell said:

 "She still thinks to this day that he is supposed to be dead. She did it because she said he was the soul of Hitler. His birthday is 4-20 and um he was an evil child, she said. And she said if she didn't kill him...he was going to keep, grow up and kill all of us. She basically, she like, saved us by sacrificing him."

Robinson has been held without bail since her arrest. With a hearing scheduled for February, reports suggest that prosecutors will seek the death penalty.

Nollywood actor Yomi Solade who recently hasn't been in spotlight has a beautiful wife. His better half used to be an actress known as Hannah Marsh, and a lot has been written about their union.

Solade, who is of the opinion that stars are not appreciated in Nigeria, further said,

“I like to hide my face because popular people are not appreciated in this country, unlike overseas. In some other countries, when stars are going out, they are usually accompanied by hefty bodyguards, but it’s not like that here. As a matter of fact, I do not believe we have celebrities here in Nigeria, we only have popular people. 

Stars are not supposed to buy second-hand cars like we do here. Meanwhile, some popular people in Nigeria are always attending every event in town, and I do not think it should be so because it cheapens them.”

A Nigerian doctor, Ogoo Ekete has been commended after helping a pregnant woman in labour deliver her baby while traveling to the village in Enugu state.

Traveling in the village with her hubby and children, to visit her sister, their car was flagged down by a desperate and anxious young man, whose wife was in labor at the LGA health centre (Iji Nike Cottage Hospital, Near Enugu East Development Centre Nkwo Nike) without any staff at work. Jesus!

In less than 5 minutes, Dr. Ogoo, a kind and blessed daughter of Zion, set up a mobile hospital in the “keke” that brought in the woman, and went into active delivery mode. Chai!

Fred’s sister-in-law, whom they were going to visit and whose house was right opposite the Health Centre, played the midwife and used the torchlight in Fred’s mobile phone to provide the needed illumination.

To the glory of almighty God, at 6:30 pm 1/1/16, she very meticulously and successfully delivered the woman of a bouncing baby boy. Praise the Lord somebody!

Let us thank God for the life of the baby and her mother. Only God knows what their fate would have been, had Dr. Ogoo hadn’t happened around at the time, and wasn’t spirit-led to render a selfless service according her Hippocratic Oath.

Man faints after receiving N10million cheque he won in Airtel promo (photos)

A young man residing in Awka, Chinonso Ikezulumba, won N10million in an ongoing Airtel promo and initially fainted during the cheque presentation.

According to Joseph Akelicious who shared the story, yesterday when Chinonso was invited to the firm's Awka office to pick up his cheque, he thought everything was just 'story' until the Airtel guys brought out both the dummy and real cheque.

He said that he is a petty fashion goods trader at Nnewi but that his business has since collapsed. He had prayed to God over the Christmas to give him N10M to start his business again and just like that,
the money came via Airtel promo.

He was accompanied to the Airtel office by his mother and two sisters and said he plans to get married in May, and that he had already planned it before the Airtel windfall.

Veteran act, Daddy Showkey, has revealed how he was humiliated at his first ever job interview.

The galala master, who spoke with Saturday Beats, said he was accused of stealing a dog.He said

“I had a cousin who was working with a security company and anytime she came to my mother’s house, she noticed that I was always singing. She then called me one day and told me that she would want me to come and work in her company because I looked strong physically. She took it upon herself to write an application letter to the company which was at Tin Can Island.
“The next day, she told me to go to the company because they were expecting me for an interview. When I got there, they checked my application letter and they realised that I was from Ajegunle and that made them have a wrong notion about me. The next thing I was told was that their guard dog was missing. They approached me and asked me if I stole the dog. I told them that I did not steal any dog and I was scared of dogs. At the time, I did not know that there were different species of dogs. Then, I was informed that their German Shepherd was missing. I kept asking what a German shepherd was and before I knew what was happening, they had beaten me blue black. 

“They later took me to Apapa Police Station. When we got there, I was fortunate enough to meet a police woman who knew me because I used to do acrobatics with my friends at the market. Immediately she saw me, she said that I was not a thief and explained to her peers that I normally did acrobatics at the marketplace and people used to give me money. As we were discussing, one of the staff of the company ran to the police station to inform the manager that they had seen the dog and that it was one of the guards that took it for a walk. I still kept asking what a German shepherd was and when they took me back to the company and showed me the dog, I was scared because the dog was as big as a ram and it was fierce-looking. On that day, I swore with my life that I would never work for anybody.”

Mercy Aigbe finally spoke on why she did not to show up at the Best Of Nollywood Awards, she was meant to co-host with ace comedian, Okey Bakassi.

A 17-year old student, Goodness Akpan has confessed that she slept with countless men as such she does not know who actually impregnated her

She made the confession on Monday at the Lagos State Police Command in Ikeja, Lagos where she was paraded along other suspected criminals by the Commissioner of police, Mr Fatai Owoseni.

Akpan said she was a student of Comprehensive Secondary School in Akwa Ibom State before she became pregnant and wanted to abort it before her sister brought her to Lagos.

She also denied that she was a sex worker and explained she was lured into the sex world and she liked it and could not control it any longer.

She said she became pregnant after sleeping with so many men and would not actually know who among them that impregnated her in their community.

Akpan said when she told one of them that slept with her and he denied, she became so confused because they were many and does not know the father of the baby.

She said when she became confused, she contacted her sister and wanted to terminate the pregnancy, she said her sister prevailed on her and brought her to Lagos.

She said she was taken to a church where she stayed and delivered the baby girl.

“If I tell you that I knew the father of the baby, I am lying because I slept with many men and they were countless before I discovered that I was pregnant,” she told P.M..EXPRESS.

Akpan was rescued by the police on suspicion of being a human trafficking victim after she delivered her baby in a church. There was an alleged plan to sell the baby.

A married woman in Kisii town of Kenya who has been committing adultery with a man living in their neighbuorhood got stuck in bed with him after her husband visited a native doctor and collect charm.

According to the reports, the woman left her home inorder to have fun as usual

Last December, actor Prince Eke hinted that his marriage to singer Muma Gee was in trouble after he shared a photo of their three children on IG and stated that their mother had abandoned them with their nanny for four weeks. (Read here) 

He also added on his IG profile that he is now a single father of three . LIB reached out to him today and he affirmed that indeed his 4-year marriage to the singer is over and that they are heading for a divorce. He also disclosed that Mumagee was almost arrested after he reported her to the social welfare when she abandoned their kids for four weeks.

"The truth is this. I am no longer married to Muma Gee. We are separated and I do not want to talk about the reasons. A lot of people have different impressions about everybody. People try to judge you even when they don’t know you. I don’t want to go into details but the thing is, Muma Gee and I are separated and very soon we will be officially divorced. I’m no longer married to Muma Gee".

LIB: How long have you guys been separated?

We have been separated for about 3 months now.

LIB: So what is the reason for the separation?

Let’s just say it didn’t work. We are not compartible. Talking about Muma Gee now is going to remind me of things I have forgotten. I have moved on and she has also moved on. I don’t want talk to Muma Gee again.

LIB: Have you filed for divorce yet?

No, not yet. In due time, the divorce will be filed.

LIB: Who has custody of the kids?

I don’t need to agitate about who should have custody of the kids. To be honest, I won’t be able to take care of them like a mother would and they are too tender. They are with their mother. I allowed that because I can’t take care of them for now. They will probably slow me down and my job also restricts me.

LIB: Why did you take your marital issues to social media? 

I don’t feel good speaking about my private affair in public but the reason I had to speak out was because at that point, for 3 months Muma Gee was no were to be found. People said they saw her in Abuja. “I saw your wife in Abuja o, with the crazy hair that she made” but all the same, It’s her life not my life. I had to go to the social welfare for kids, they invited her. They almost arrested her before she now came back and carried the kids. The next thing she did was to snap photos with the kids and put up on social media. Why I spoke out at the first instance was because I felt so bad. No matter what, no matter who you have met now or that Mr right you have now, that person is not enough and shouldn’t be capable of convincing you to abandon your kids for that long. For you to be convinced to abandon your kids for that long means that maybe something has been going on while you were still with me or you feel with this person, I have got everything that I wanted but have you asked yourself how old am I? Will I be able to have kids again?  I felt so bad. Why will a woman abandon my kids? Assuming she went with them, I wouldn’t have minded but when I come around her house to see my kids because we don’t live together, I find out they are with the nanny. Why? And I will be on location and the nanny will call me and say my child is vomiting. What! Where the fuck is their mother? If you are married you will understand where I am coming from. It’s so painful and a lot of my friends were like ‘don’t put your family matter on social media’ but I needed to explode. I didn’t even read the comments on blogs because I knew people will call me names and insult me but all the same, thank God I did that, I have moved on.

LIB: So your children are with her now?

Yes, she has come to carry them

LIB: Have you seen your children since then?

No, I have not but I will if I want to.

LIB: When did you guys start drifting apart?

The thing is, there is a straw that breaks the camel’s back and when it does, you find out that probably all the beautiful years you had were just a mirage. Marriage is meant to be enjoyed not endured.

The award-winning director insisted that some of them earn more than what ladies who work in banks earn in one month.

“As far as I am concerned,these ladies earn better than their mates who work in banks. I was told that those who work in banks earn between N100,000 and N200,000 every month. You don’t want to know how much the ladies charge per shoot”, he said
