"DADDY OPM WEDS TWO MORE REPENTED SEX WORKERS
…After wedding two last month.
Omega Power Ministries, a wild fire growing Christian denomination in Rivers State, Founded and established under the Spiritual leadership of a 43years old man of God “Apostle (Dr) Chibuzor Gift Chinyere have started counting the dividend of the recent Church Evangelism as two more additional repented sex workers entered into a holy matrimony .
The duo who hailed from Oron, in Akwa Ibom State were among the September 2016, OPM converted sex workers in one of the church outreach program in Diobu, Port Harcourt.
While officiating the marriage on Saturday December, 17th 2016 at the OPM branch church in GRA Port Harcourt, the General Overseer said, he was delighted to see the young girls whose life’s were almost condemned to death by Satan the Devil getting married to husbands of their choice.
The wedding which was the third in it series has within an interval of three months witnessed four of the repented sex workers be joined in marriage with the church bankrolling the marital expenses.
Speaking further, the Apostle said he will never relent in his prayers to ensure that all the OPM converted sex worker got married and live a sinless life according to God’s will. He added that although the rehabilitation program of the sex workers is capital Intensive but his joy was full when comparing the spiritual and financial blessings of God arising from such humanitarian services upon the church.
One of the bride who identified herself as Gloria (not real name) said “I was never a prostitute in my life, I was in my SS2 at Sonya Secondary School, Lagos, Ileaved with my uncle when suddenly condition became so unbearable that I have to relocated to my village in Oron, at Akwa Ibom State. A day came when one wealthy woman from Port Harcourt visited my parents to request that I should return with her to Port Harcourt to work as house mad with a monthly stipend of ten thousand naira, I gladly followed her. My madam’s husband worked in shell and we used to attain SaviourMinistry Church. One day my madam travel to America and directed me to always make sure I clean the house and take care of her husband domestic work. Shortly after she left, my madam’s husband called me into his bedroom and wanted to have sex with me but I refused, when my madam returned home, I could not summon courage to tell her, but to my greatest surprise, my madam’s husband requested I should be sent back home. Five thousand naira was giving to me and that can hardly take care of my transport fare and feeding.
That was how I found myself in a brothel in Port Harcourt doing prostitution to earn a living. Not quite four months, into my prostitution business that God send Daddy OPM to visit us in Diobu to restore our life. Today I am fully restored in the Lord and have gotten weded to a husband of my choice, may God receive all the glory for raising a man like Daddy OPM for my sake”.
The situation was not different with the second bride who identify herself as “Nset” (Not real name) Nset in her reaction said she was 22years of age and a dropped out SS2 student of Mirian Secondary School, Oron, when a lady tricked her with a business proposal to Port Harcourt unknown to her that it was a prostitution work.
On arrival in Diobu, Port Harcourt, the lady asked her to pick up a street hawking business, a trade that finally landed her in a brothel. According to Nset “Anytime I slept with any man my madam will be the person that will collect the money and gave mepeanut to buy food for myself, while in the business I lost my senses, and could not be able to take care of my domestic need anymore and cannot even expressed myself. I can only remember how to sleep with men but cannot realized how much I make for myself. I suffered from this problem until Daddy OPM came and rescued us from Diobu, because this my problem I became a burden to the church that took care of me. One day Daddy OPM requested that I should be sent home and at that point I concluded to terminate my life. Touched by the planned to end my life, Daddy OPM resented from the plan eviction but rather directed that I should be placed on monthly salary. While waiting for God Intervention in my case my husband appeared and propose to marry me and that was a turning point in my life. I regain my senses almost immediately I had the marriage proposal.
Similarly the grooms were not left out as they dance with joy, celebrating their newly wedded wives. They thanked the servant of God for making himself available to bless their lives, and provided them with an accommodation after wedding."

The grateful brides who both revealed that they went into prostitution, not out of choice but as a

result of their situation thanked the man of God for giving them a new life. Their grooms were

also grateful and thanked the Apostle for
sponsoring their wedding and providing them
with accommodation after the wedding.

Pls Pay our salaries Buhari, FRSC officials Lament

FRSC officials threaten to start taking bribes like police

Some men of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) have allegedly threatened the Muhammadu Buhari-led government that they could be forced to begin taking bribes like officials of the Nigeria Police Force except they are immediately paid their November salaries.
FRSC officials threaten to start taking bribes like police

Some officials of the agency said they would be forced to start taking bribes like the police
The has been severally rated as one of the most corrupt federal institutions in the country with the FRSC maintaining a level of respect, but the current threat is because they are reportedly being owed their salaries and allowances
The Punch reports that the officials spoke on
the condition of anonymity, added that there had been no explanation as to why they are still being owed at a time there have been asked to double their efforts because of the festive season.
The reporter quoted an official of the corps, who gave his name as Patrick, as saying there was no excuse for withholding salaries since the FRSC is a revenue-generating agency.
“The government is being very unfair to us. Christmas is next Sunday and many of us who are male officials have been asked to remain on the roads to ensure that the roads are safe.
“How can the agency ask me to spend Christmas on the road and at the same time deprive me of my salary?
“They should not turn corps officials into policemen because that is what will happen if we are not paid,” he reportedly said.
The report also quoted a female lawmaker and single mother as saying: “Everyone knows that the prices of goods increase during Christmas and that is why most people try to do their shopping early December.

It is bad enough that we are witnessing a recession but the government should not worsen our condition by withholding our pay.
“What will I feed my children this Christmas? Where will I get the money to take them out to have fun? They cannot tell us not to extort money from motorists and at the same time deprive us of our salaries. It is unfair.”

A third official identified as Abiodun said officials of the agency had received their salaries on the seventh day of the following month since five months ago and added: “There have always been bad eggs in the agency, but the fact that most officials are well paid sort of reduced the number of bad eggs.
“However, now that salaries are not being paid, the government seems to be giving officials the ‘green light’ to indulge in corrupt practices. You cannot flog me and ask me not to cry.”
In reaction, the organizations head of media relations and strategy, Mr Bisi Kazeem, said it was not the fault of the agency that its officials were being owed, but that they may have been affected by the integrated payroll and personnel information system under which federal government officials are paid.
He added that officials are paid separately for road checks, adding: “The salary issue is from IPPIS and not from us; so, I suggest you get in touch with the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation.

“The salary issue is being sorted out and anyone who takes bribes knows the implications. Anyone who is caught collecting bribes will be dismissed.”

the face of economic downturn as being
witnessed across the country.

Governor Fayose in his interaction with the beneficiaries described the programme as one in a good direction. He added that it is a continuation from where he stopped in his first term.

couldn't find solution.

"Taking this to them, going to them to do the test and today formally giving them the glasses is a breakthrough for most of them. You can't imagine that people can wake up without a #100
in the morning not to say getting a reading glass for about #7000, that could be a major problem and we felt this project is one in a right direction".
Governor Fayose while assuring Ekiti people about sustainability of the project explained that next phase of the project was captured in the 2017 budget adding that the project will be a continuous one throughout his stay in office.
Condemning open defecation and calling on the people of the state to inculcate hygienic habits by regularly washing their hands, Mr. Fayose called on Ekiti women to make themselves very visible in 2017 as his government has made necessary provision for the celebration of Ekiti women in 2017.

Uncovered: 102 bags of plastic rice seized in Lagos

The Federal Operations Unit, Ikeja, of the Nigeria Customs Service has seized 102 bags of plastic rice branded “Beat Tomato Rice” with no date of manufacture.

The Customs Area Controller of F.O.U. Comptroller Mohammed Haruna, on Tuesday in Lagos said that the commodity was stored for distribution as Yuletide gifts for the public.

Haruna said that officers of the unit intercepted the plastic rice along Ikeja area on Monday, adding that a suspect was arrested in connection with the seizure.

He said, “Before now, I thought it was a rumour that the plastic rice is all over the country but with this seizure, I have been totally convinced that such rice exists.

We have done the preliminary analysis on the plastic rice. After boiling, it was sticky and only God knows what would have happened if people consumed it.
I advise those economic saboteurs who see yuletide season as a peak period for nefarious acts to desist from such illegal business.
The unit has decided other operational modalities that will make them run for their monies and count their losses.”

He described smuggling as a global phenomenon, adding that such act could not be curbed entirely but could be brought to its barest minimum.

Haruna appreciated well-meaning Nigerians who provided the service with prompt information that led to the discovery of the bags of plastic rice.

The controller, however, advised the media to educate the public on the existence of plastic rice, adding that it was no longer a rumour.

Haruna assured the public that the distribution point of the particular plastic rice seized by the unit had been blocked with immediate effect.

He said that investigation was still ongoing.

The controller said the unit would handover the plastic rice to the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control for proper investigation.

Yemi Alade- How i deal with sexual harassment within the industry

In a recent interview with Punch newspaper, the Nigerian music industry giant expressed her disappointment at the pressure and harassment female artists often have to endure, who is really to blame, and how she tackles this unfortunate

challenge.

"Record label owners and show promoters are all guilty of this," the singer said. "Sexual harassment comes in different levels; some are intense, some are subtle, and some even come through third parties."
She continued, saying, "however, I haven't found myself in a situation that felt very uncomfortable. Once I see the signs, I run and the person would not even have the opportunity to go through with his evil plans."

I sleep with minors, to become wealthy! says ritualist.

A young man who claimed he was instructed by an unnamed spiritualist to have anal sex with minors; both boys and girls, in order to acquire wealth has been arrested by the police in Enugu.
The suspect, one Esomchi Ojobo, a native of Enugu-Ezike in Igbo-Eze North Local Government of Enugu State, was apprehended after raping about 11 minors.
Ojobo was arrested in Opanda, a community in the Uzo-Uwani area of Enugu, on December 11.
Southern City News gathered that Ojobo’s victims, who were not named by the police, were aged 3, 4, 7, 8, 9 and 11 years.
It was learnt that Ojobo allegedly hypnotized the minors before raping them.
The Spokesman, Enugu State Police Command, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, who confirmed the development, said that upon his arrest, Ojobo confessed that he used a white cloth to perpetrate the act.
According to Amaraizu, the white cloth was given to the suspect by an unnamed spiritualist, which he flashes on the faces of his targets.
He said, “The suspect explained that the little boy or girl would temporarily lose his or her senses after the dangling of the cloth on the person’s face and added that the victim would follow him to wherever he intended to perpetrate the crime.
“He also confessed that he was instructed to rape the minors through the anus in order to ‘collect their destinies’, which would in turn translate to immense riches for him.
“He (suspect) revealed that as soon as the white cloth is flashed on their (victims’) faces, they will lose consciousness and follow him to where he will abuse them through the anus for the purpose of reaping the victim’s destiny, which in turn boosts the process of his financial acquisition.”
However, Ojobo has not acquired the expected riches before his arrest.
But the suspect said he was yet to complete the ‘process’ as instructed by the spiritualist, before he was arrested.
Amaraizu said, “When asked whether he had started getting the money, the suspect maintained that he was still in the process and that the process needed to be completed before he would start reaping the monetary dividend as instructed.”
Amaraizu said the police had launched a full scale investigation into Ojobo’s activities, adding that the suspect had expressed regrets over his actions.

“I Started My Blog As A Prank”- Top Nigerian Blogger Laila Ijeoma Obaigwu

Nigerian blogger Laila Ijeoma,  has said that she started her blog as a prank. The owner of Laila's blog is a mother, a banker and she enjoys quite a large follower-ship online.
In an exclusive interview with Ademola Olonilua, of Saturday Punch, Laila, shared how she started her blog.

When was Laila's blog created?

I actually started blogging in 2012. Lailasblog.com was birthed January 2013
What drew your attention to blogging?

I have always been a science student in school and I never knew anything about blogging in my life. When I finished school, I just wanted an outlet where I could share experiences with people and because of that, I started a Facebook page called, 'True love for my man.' That was the first social media account I used to gather people together and we spoke about love and heartbreak. The Facebook page grew because a lot of my friends joined.
I still wanted more, so I told a friend that I had the desire to run a television show and she told me to visit a radio station instead. I listened to her advice, visited a radio station and they gave me air time to do a show about money because I also work in a bank.
I had to cancel the show because it was not easy running the show alongside being a mother, a wife and a banker. All this while, I was still holding on to the passion of growing a community of like minds.

One day, I stumbled on one of my colleagues' blog at work and I asked him questions about how it works. He showed me how to run a blog and from there, I began to visit other blogs. I was so intrigued and I told my colleague that day in the office that I wanted to start my own blog. He helped me create the blog, I began blogging and ever since then, I have had so much fun. I did not start it because I needed money, I was gainfully employed. When I started and began to read people's comments, I knew this is what I had been looking for all this while.
How were you able to combine being a blogger, a wife, mother and a banker?
It is crazy and quite difficult to explain it. I spend every free second I have on my blog. I started waking up as early as 3am to blog and the beautiful thing about blogging is that you can schedule your posts, so even when you are not online, the post would still be uploaded on the blog. That helped me a lot.
During my break hours, I would rush home, find out what is happening around the world and begin to blog then I rush back to the office after that. Then once it is 4pm, I quickly round off my work and by 6pm, I am back home sitting in front of my computer, blogging till about 12am when I go to bed. That is how I have been living my life because I am still working for the bank.
It has to do with passion. When you want to succeed, as bad as you want to breathe, then you would be successful. You would not even see obstacles. My passion has been a driving force.
Also, I have a supportive home and a husband who is very caring. I have a husband who helps out a lot at home and even on the blog and I am very grateful. In fact, my kids even know that their mother is a blogger. My family understand that I have two jobs and they all come together to help me. They help out with whatever they can and this reduces the burden.
What has been your most controversial post so far?
When Toke Makinwa got married, I broke the story but I don't think that was controversial. Once in a while, I have had issues with some celebrities and some other people. Also during the Olamide versus Don Jazzy feud, I broke the story that it was Dangote that brought them back together and Olamide prostrated to Don Jazzy. The story actually went viral.
But have you posted any story that got you into trouble?
I think one that almost got me into trouble involved the wife of the son of a very top Nigerian pastor. This top and highly revered pastor's daughter-in-law posted her bikini picture on her Instagram page and when I saw it, I uploaded it on my blog.
Of course, I knew it would generate some controversies but I uploaded it though later took it down after I had a change of heart. But unfortunately, other blogs had already picked it. Later I got a letter from the lady that I published her picture without her permission. It was on public domain.
Have you ever gotten letter from lawyers or threat messages based on what you post on your blog?
Yes I have and I am trying to remember them. The latest one was with Toni Payne. I don't know if it should be on print because these are issues I have resolved. During the Toni Payne saga, she threatened me and told me that she could circulate a false story about my husband.
When I became very serious with my blog, I had to get a writer to assist me. Right now, I have two writers that assist me. They help me post some stories when I am preoccupied with some other things.
That very day, one of my writers stumbled on a post on Instagram, someone used a parody account and the name of the account was Thoni Payne. The person blasted Wizkid and my writer thought it was Toni Payne. So when my writer was uploading it on my blog, she credited the statement to Toni Payne.
However, immediately she did it and realized her mistake, the post was removed. All that time, I was at work and was not aware of all that was happening.
It was when I got back home and I was going through my emails that I saw a message from Toni where she was abusing me. She had already sent a mail to my in-laws and my husband. She was able to get them by tracing through my social media accounts. She told my in-laws that I was tarnishing people's image on my blog and they should warn me to take down the story. I did not know she had sent a mail before that one.
Then I replied her asking what the problem was in a very nice manner. It was at that point I scrolled down my mail and saw the first e-mail she sent me where she wrote that I posted false news about her and I must apologize or she would instruct her lawyers to write me, then she attached the link of the story with the e-mail.
I went to my blog and realized the post had been deleted, so I called my writer and she informed me of what happened. Toni Payne was insisting that I apologize and I told her that I didn't need to be told that she deserved one.
I own the blog and accepted full responsibility for what happened. Then I put up a retraction. Toni even sent me a picture of my husband to make me understand that she did her job well. When she did that, I had to ask if she was threatening me. She said that she was not going to do anything like that but she added that one day I would get a dose of my medicine.
I was very shocked when she said that. She said I had been writing so many evil stories about her and that I was after her downfall. Which I am not.
How do you handle negative criticism?
I am somebody that apologizes when I am wrong; we all make mistakes once in a while. Even CNN and Daily Mail which I love a lot make mistakes. I post the news and I never blackmail. If I am wrong, I would always apologize but if you accuse me wrongly, I leave it to God because the person is not worth my stress.
At what point did you start making money from your blog?
I was consistent in my work and in 2014, a particular company did an advert with me for a full year and it was worth it.
For someone not based in Lagos, how do you get fresh news?
One good thing about blogging is that you don't have to be in Lagos but you have to be there to attend business meetings. You can blog from anywhere and you can get fresh news anywhere as long as you have the right sources, friends and connections. Sometimes strangers send me stories because they like my blog. They say things like they want me to be the first to break the story. That is how I get most of my stories.
When you created your blog, did you know you would become popular?
No, I did not. I started my blog as a prank. I did not start my blog because I wanted to make money. In 2007, I was earning as much as N200,000, I was single and I was a big girl. It was not about money at all. I started blogging as a prank; I even used a fake picture on my blog's profile. It was along the line that I realized that I enjoy it. I love blogging. I did not realize that the blog would take me to where I am today.
Do you wish you were as popular in reality as you are on the internet?
May God not let bad thing happen. When you get popular, you are exposed to a lot of things. Even the people that are with you can sell you out. Most of the stories that we post were given to us by inside sources. It is people around celebrities that give the stories to bloggers. I don't think I am ready for such popularity. I like things the way they are.
You were recently nominated for an award in Dubai, what was it about?
It is the Pan African Humanitarian Award in partnership with the Economic Community for West African States and World Leaders Forum, Dubai, and I was nominated in the category of the most promising blogger of the year. I was very excited when I got the mail because it is the first international nomination that I would have. I also feel very honored and humbled.

It is no longer news that the young marriage of  MMMG music boss, Ubi Franklin and actress Lilian Esoro is passing through troubled waters.

Although, the two parties haven't openly admitted the split, but they are speculations that the have been living separately for months now.

While Ubi has earlier granted an interview where he refused talk about the issues at hand, Esoro who is presently in the custody of their 6 months old baby son, has remained mum over the marital crisis scandal.

So, yesterday, KFB bumped into Mr. Ubi Franklin at a public function. He was all happy and jolly mood until we approached him and mentioned the need for a quick interview.

Lo and behold, Ubi's countenance changed and he wore a 'scary frown' (Lol).

" You journalists should leave my marriage and i alone. In fact, i have stopped granting interviews.. Whatever i say, you people would misquote me and keep fueling the matter. No more interviews from me please," he said before storming out.

Well, we hope they find a means to resolve their differences and bring back peace to their marriage.

Nigerians, excited about Big Brother Naija comeback.

Some residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Monday said they were elated that the Nigerian edition of the reality TV show, Big Brother would begin in 2017.
The first edition of ‘Big Brother Nigeria’ held in 2006, producing stars like Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Tinsel actor, Gideon Okeke, but was won by Katung Aduwak who took home 100,000 dollars.
After 10 years, organisers of the show, Multichoice had announced on social media platforms in November that the second edition of the show would commence on Jan. 22, 2017 in Lagos.
Amaka Okoro, a staff of Multichoice Nigeria, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that Multichoice was prepared to entertain Nigerians with the biggest reality show.
“We have made arrangements for the show and we want Nigerians to be entertained.
“The show is now known as ‘Big Brother Naija’ and will be broadcast on Dstv and Gotv, but it will be aired on specific channels and viewers will have to subscribe for it.
“The show remains live, relies on viewers votes and will run for 78 days.“The show was very successful in 2006 and we hope for the same this year, but the ‘Shower hour’ segment won’t be shown this time.
“There will be a total of 12 housemates during the season and the emerging winner takes home a new KIA Sorento car and N25 million,” she said.
Bimbo Adesope, a civil servant, said “I was surprised to hear that the show was coming back for a second season.’’
“I am hoping that it remains as interesting as the other Big Brother shows across the world.
“I’m glad that those interested in the show can simply subscribe for it.’’

Bode George, a Club DJ, said “we have been told that some aspects of the show such as shower time and other aspects that might look inappropriate will not be shown’’.
“Fact is that those are the main things that attract viewers.
“People want to see the romantic connections and the fights that will take place in the house.
“I am, however, happy that the show is back but I hope it will be as interesting as the last one was,’’ he said.
Ngozi Daniels, a masseuse, told NAN that she was happy that the show would be back on air soon.
“I am a big fan of Big Brother and I can’t wait for the show to begin.
“I was one of those who were saddened by the fact that the show was cancelled after airing in 2006.
“Its comeback is very much needed as we Nigerians need something to lighten our mood.
“With the economic hardship and security crises, I need this show to help me forget about the sad atmosphere once in a while.’’
According to Ahmed Yusuf an entrepreneur, I believe that Big Brother is a waste of time for participants and viewers.
“I remember when the show aired in 2006 and my daughter became addicted to the programme.
“She was in SS2 then and that was the only thing she and her friends ever watched.
“It became a show that captured the attention of women and youths in every household.
“The participants on the other hand tend to spend months of their lives in the house without achieving anything.
“That is a waste of time and money from both parties and I won’t be subscribing for the show,’’ he said.
NAN reports that auditions for potential housemates held in Lagos on November 26 and 27.
